My Thanksgiving plan went something like this:
Wake up late
Laze around until noon
Pop defrosted turkey breast in oven
Drive around aimlessly past old house in East Point, trying to figure out ways to buy it back or if it's worth it at all to do so
At home, pop all pre-made store-bought side dishes -- except for homemade cornbread dressing -- in oven or on stove to heat
Eat
Go to park for post-meal two-mile "like this is really gonna help so much" walk
Come home
Watch Rich's Great Tree Lighting, an ATL tradition, on local TV (I refuse to call it the Macy's Great Tree, even though Macy's took over and closed down Rich's last year, the cretins; it was Rich's tradition and they were our hometown dept. store since the 1860s)
Conk out on couch while doing NY Times xword puzzle
Go to bed
Wake up and finish NY Times xword at ungodly hour of 4 a.m.
Go back to sleep
